Making paper. Sustaining hope.

City of Hope cards

At Hammermill, we’re extremely proud of our ongoing partnership with City of Hope. In case you’re not familiar with it, City of Hope is a research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes, and other life threatening diseases. It’s also ranked among the nation’s “Best Hospitals” in cancer by U.S. News & World Report.

To help City of Hope achieve their goals for 2021, Hammermill has made a corporate donation of $75,000. We’ve also designed special packaging for Hammermill Copy Plus® paper, which features the City of Hope logo and their mission.

Our involvement this year is especially gratifying. Along with the National Business Products Industry (NBPI), City of Hope has chosen Greg Gibson, Vice President & General Manager, North American Papers at International Paper to receive their highest honor—the Spirit of Life® Award. In addition to being vice president and general manager of North American papers at IP, Greg is a longtime leader in the community, and his selection is well-deserved.

As this year’s honoree, Greg is also leading NBPI’s 2021 fundraising campaign, SUSTAIN HOPE. His own father died of cancer when he was three years old, so Greg truly appreciates NBPI’s support: “The commitment of the National Business Products Industry over the years demonstrates our industry’s compassion, unity and unwavering commitment in supporting City of Hope and its mission to finding the cures for diseases that affect so many we know and love.”

If you’d like to help make the “Wishing Tree” wishes of City of Hope patients come true, there are several ways you can participate in the 2021 SUSTAIN HOPE campaign:
