Giving Back

At Hammermill®, we believe that being a good company is measured not only by our products, but also by the lives we touch and the difference we can make in our local communities.
Giving back is at the heart of the company, and we do this by making donations and volunteering.

We help support the Memphis community with paper donations to schools, and helping a cause we believe in, like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. Read more below to find out how we’re working to help make a difference.

Paper Donations

We put the same care into making paper as we do in caring for people. For us, donating paper to our local community schools, and the Memphis Teacher Corps, is a way to give back in a way we’re passionate about. Through paper donations, we are making an impact in our community by helping students and teachers get the resources they need to succeed.

In 2017, we donated 189 cartons of Hammermill paper to the Memphis Teacher Corps. Every corps member walked away with their own carton of paper to use throughout the school year. We are proud to support such an amazing local organization focused on expanding educational opportunity in the Memphis area.

Volunteerism

Our employees are committed to supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® in their vitally important mission: Finding Cures. Saving Children®. To show our support, we hosted an employee event at St. Jude Target House, the housing facility for St. Jude patients who are undergoing treatment for more than 90 days. Hammermill employees were able to give back to the families of St. Jude by volunteering to serve food, and even got to enjoy making paper crafts with the children.

Making a Difference

Hammermill has donated more than $1.7 million to support St. Jude, and we will do more by donating a minimum of $250,000 to their life-saving mission in 2017.

You support St. Jude when you buy Hammermill paper. Find out how you can do more to support St. Jude, and help make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
