Hammermill online store's return and shipping policy
We offer various shipping options for products under 100 lbs, provided by FedEx,USPS or UPS. Shipping prices and options are based on the order weight and delivery destination. The delivery time is determined by the processing time and shipment method selected. We do not offer express and standard overnight services for P.O. boxes, FPO, APO addresses, or U.S. territories. We do not require a signature for residential deliveries, but all commercial deliveries require a signature.
We offer free shipping on value shipping offers unless stated otherwise in the promotion. Orders are typically shipped within 24-48 hours, and cancellations may not be possible due to the short processing times. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day. Orders placed during the holiday season may take longer to ship.
For products over 100 lbs, including pallets, the delivery location must be zoned as commercial or business. We do not deliver pallets or LTL loads to residential addresses or P.O. boxes. A standard 48-inch high loading dock for a trailer up to 53 feet with swinging doors is required for pallet deliveries/LTL truckload deliveries. Delivery appointments are not available, and the estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 business days, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. You must have the proper unloading equipment, and pallets should be unloaded within a two-hour period.
Shipping rates, if applied, are calculated based on the total order weight, shipping method selected, and delivery destination.
Sales and use tax apply to the state where the items are being delivered. Hammermill does business in
all 50 states and is required by law to collect and remit sales and/or use taxes for all merchandise orders
and shipping charges, except where exclusions apply.
We do our best to fulfill your order as requested, and we will notify you if an item is unavailable. If an item is unavailable, we may substitute it with a product of equal or greater value.
This return policy applies only to products purchased on the Hammermill website. You have 14 days from receiving your item to request a return or a refund. To be eligible for a return or a refund, the item must be unused, unworn, with straps, and in its original packaging. You must have the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will send you return instructions within 24 to 48 hours. If your return is accepted, we will issue a refund or request a return of the product. If we request a return of the product, we will send you a return shipping label and provide instructions on where to send the package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Non-defective supply returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be completed within 14 days of the delivery date. The product must be returned in the original packaging and quantity, and in a condition suitable for resale. You are responsible for the return freight for these items.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds on pallet, bulk deliveries, gift cards, or sale items.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Delivery companies will be responsible for damages incurred during delivery.
